I currently live in Austin, TX with my three extremely spoiled Basenji dogs, Louisa May Alcott, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and Benjamin Franklin.
Before entering ministry, I worked for many years in non-profit work, organizing, and activism involving anti-racism, anti-oppression, immigration, HIV/AIDS, LGBTQI+, women’s rights and more. This dedication to social action and social change still nourishes and informs my ministry.
Additionally, I love developing and providing worship, ritual, rites of passage, and other forms of communal spirituality, especially when done cooperatively with other folks. I also find much fulfillment in pastoral support and care. I bring experience serving in non-profit management, budgeting, finances, and fund-raising into my ministerial portfolio as well.
I am dedicated to my Unitarian Universalist faith and enjoy a rich spiritual life through writing, nature photography, and other spiritual practices.
